The Pulse

So I entered another of the Writer's Cramp contests over on Writing.com.

The prompt was to write a story or poem about something that gets frozen that shouldn't be.

I started off obviously thinking about time getting frozen, but after I wrote about the protagonist sneaking off to fondle some boobage for the third time I decided to scrap the whole thing.

I actually think I could expand on the world I created in this tiny piece. To be honest, I don't really know that much more than the reader when it comes to what the hell is going on in there, but it seems like it could be fun finding out. I might decide to do something with it in the future.

Anyway, I won... obviously ;)

Use this button at the bottom of the Scribd box to make the text bigger if it's on the dinky side of the size scale for your eye bells.

For winning I got 10,000 Gift Points. Which in real life is the equivalent of $1.00! Which then converts to 64p!

I won 64 god damn p!

AWESOME!!

ps. Something else which is awesome... Adventure Time with Finn and Jake!

Will Write for Gift Points

Recently I began typing up a very old short story I wrote a few years ago. Mainly just to give me something to do and so I had something (sort of) finished to put up. I only got the first part typed before I had to whisk myself off to work and help drunk people get drunker. Expect that to be posted here soon.

I also recently joined a writing website, cleverly named www.writing.com.
Very cryptic I know.

I checked my emails on there this morning and had this little baby waiting for me:

Congratulations!

You have received a gift from An Anonymous Person!

Your Gift:   * 1 Three (3) Month Upgraded Writing.Com Membership
Message From Sender: Thanks for reviewing! Hope to see more on the public review pageBigsmile

I know! Saweeet! It wasn't hard to figure out who this 'Anonymous Person' was (I've only reviewed one piece of work so far). So I thank him very much for his wonderful little gift. Which would have cost me $20.00!

I also entered a little 24 hour writing contest.

The prompt was:
Today’s story or poem should be about a SNOW DAY

The story had to be less than 1000 words, the deadline was 12:00pm; I found the contest at 11:37am.
So here is my (literally) last minute entry.

So Much Noise _ Writers Cramp 13-12

I know, I know. It doesn't really have much to do with a 'snow day'. Apart from the fact that it's a snow day, thus everyone being home.

Anyway, I didn't win... SadFace.jpg

WELCOME

 Hello.
Welcome to the blog.
Have a look around.
I know, I know, there's not much to look at right now.
I'm working on that.

Soon there will be regular postings containing a range of things from what i'm up to at any particular minute, snippets of things i'm currently writing and general thoughts from the mushy ball that lives in my skull.

I hope that anything you read here will tickle your fancy in a most incredible way.

So when this place is choc full of stuff be sure to spread the word and let people know,
tell them,
'Oh, I read something quite awesome the other day on a most charming little blog, I shall point you in its direction forthwith'
and then proceed to do so.
Cheers chaps :)

See you soon x
